We often watch (or hear) the Coast Guard rescue drills. Last night's storm flooding put their skills to work. At least 7 people (in cars- when a culvert broke) were rescued by the local volunteer fire department in Tillamook and the Coast Guard.I am sure the count was higher if you include fishermen and boaters.
