Last Monday, we had Hurricane force winds with gusts of 99 mph. The power went out and trees and fences blew down.
We lost our fence and a tree. All that fall cleanup means nothing now. The Koi pond is filled with tree limbs, pine needles and unhappy fish. One of the driveway trees fell over to the Sou'wester's RV lot- thankfully no campers. It took out the feeder electrical wire.
Since the house is primarily heated with our fireplace insert- we were warm. I cooked on the insert top and the storm passed by late afternoon. 
A trip around the neighborhood shows more fences and trees down. We have a lot of cleanup to do.
