About 200 miles south of us- at the center of the Oregon coast- the beautiful Heceta Head Lighthouse is the stuff of movies, dreams and many stories. This is whale season. Sadly, that also means when whales die at sea- they wash ashore and present a problem. What do you do with a 55 ft rotting and stinking whale carcass?A Fin Whale washed ashore around the Hecta Head Lighthouse Park near Florence, OR.
